Christine A. Fortmann, DDS, FACP
As San Juan Capistrano’s only prosthodontist, Dr. Fortmann is committed to practicing dentistry in a way that’s tailored to each patient’s individual dental health.
Dr. Fortmann received a Bachelors degree at UCLA, Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, and completed a three-year full-time prosthodontic residency at the University of Texas where she was asked to be chief resident. She also completed a year-long preceptorship in dental implantology at the Universtiy of Texas.
She became one of a handful of prosthodontists in Orange County to obtain Board Certification and was honored as a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (FACP) in 2015.
In 2016 Dr. Fortmann became Faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry and enjoys teaching dental students at the university.
As a South Orange County native, Dr. Fortmann followed the swallows back to San Juan Capistrano to set up a practice limited to Prosthodontics with a focus on dentures and implant prosthetics.
When she’s not driving to LA to teach or busy in practice, you can find Dr. Fortmann gardening, biking, painting or practicing her golf game.
